DETAILS ITINERARY:

Day 1: Saigon arrival

Xin Chào! Arrival in Tan Son Nhat International Airport, Meet the guide and transfer to city Center for check-in the hotel if room is available (check-in time is 14h00). Free to explore Ho Chi Minh City. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.

Day 2: Saigon – Cu Chi tunnels (Meal: B)

  • Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Cu Chi Tunnel and visit the amazing complex of underground tunnels. There are more than 200 km of underground tunnels, comprising a main axis system with many branches connecting to underground hideouts, shelters and other tunnels. Back to Ho Chi Minh City. Rest of the day, you are free at leisure or free shopping at Ben Thanh market. Dinner own arrangement and payment. Overnight in HCM C

Day 3: Saigon – Mekong delta – Saigon (Meals: B/L)

Breakfast at your hotel. 08h00: Our guide will pick you up from your hotel, depart for Mekong Delta

Enjoy the scenic journey along the National Highway bordered by green rice fields. On arrived at My Tho, visit Vinh Trang pagoda, take a leisurely boat ride along the river, view the stilt houses, fruit plantations and fishing villages along the river bank. Proceed to Tortoise islet. Have a lunch in the orchard garden. Then a boat ride to An Khanh – a less touristy attraction in Ben Tre, enjoy cruising on a hand-rowed sampan under the shadow of the water coconut trees along natural canals, then enjoy seasonal fruit & honey tea to the sound of “Southern Vietnamese folk music”, performed by locals.

Visit a family business which epitomizes the idyllic rural lifestyle, taste the delicious coconut candy & observe the pastoral life as you roam through the fruit plantation and village. Meet the bus and return to Ho Chi Minh City. This trip provides a fascinating insight into daily life in the Mekong Delta and you are guaranteed to take home your own private collection of beautiful memories. Back to Ho Chi Minh City

Day 4: Saigon – Phnom Penh by Bus (Meal: B)

Breakfast at your hotel.  We take bus to Phnom Penh, it takes 6 hours. Arrival in Phnom Penh we transfer to hotel check in, after check in we will take an orientation walk and visit the Royal Palace. The Palace was opened in 1870 under King Norodom, and now contains the Royal Residence, the Throne Hall, the Silver Pagoda, and other buildings. The Silver Pagoda (Wat Preah Keo Morokat) is one of the city’s most visited sites and offers a display of priceless Buddhist and historical objects. The Pagoda draws its name with more than 5,000 silver tiles, which cover a floor in the temple. The building serves less as a functioning shrine, no monks currently reside here, than a repository of cultural treasures such as the famous Emerald Buddha and many other valuable statues, and continue to visit Wat Phnom, Phnom Penh’s name sake. Day 5: Phnom Penh city tour (Meals: B/L)

After breakfast at the hotel, start visit to Koh Dach Island (Silk Island) by boat on the Mekong River to see the daily life of the villagers and weaving villages. We will continue our visit the Toul Sleng Prison Museum and the Killing Fields of Choeung Ek-both grim reminders of Cambodia’s bloody past under Pol Pot. It is almost inconceivable to confront the nature of true evil here in this gentle land, but the Buddhist memorial at Choeung Ek, commemorates the 1.7 million victims of the 1975-79 Pol Pot regime. This excursion may prove distressing for some. It is, however, an important piece of this country’s historical and cultural puzzle. We spend the rest of time discovering Phnom Penh’s Psar Toul Tom Pong, known as the Russian Market, a great place to hunt for souvenirs, curios, overnight at hotel in Phnom Penh

Day 6: Phnom Penh – Siem Reap – Angkor Thom by bus (Meals: B/L)

Breakfast at hotel. Our guide and driver will transfer you to bus station for departure to Siem Reap, Up on arrival meet our guide and driver transfer to hotel check in, after check in we will visit the “Chantiers Ecoles – Les Artisans d’Angkor” which provides training to young Cambodians in an effort to revive the ancient Khmer traditions of stone carving and wood sculpting. Last we will visit Wat Bo founded in the 18th century, a highly respected pagoda contains very unique wall paintings of the Reamker (Ramayana) that are said to be late 19th century. We continue to one of the city’s lively open markets, Psar Chars, also called the “Old Market”, where anything and everything is for sale. Have dinner at Indian restaurant. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 7: Tuk tuk ride to Ta Prohm – Angkor Wat – Blessing Ceremony (Meals: B/L)

Breakfast at hotel, We will take Remork Ride to visit the Seven Wonders of the World, listed by UNECSO as a world heritage site, the Angkor Wat Temple! One of the largest religious monuments in the world, it was originally constructed as a Hindu temple before gradually transforming into a Buddhist temple toward the end of the 12th century. Lastly, we visit Ta Prohm which is a temple with photogenic and an atmospheric combination of trees growing out of the ruins in jungle surroundings. Ta Prohm was also used in the filming of 2001’s action film; Lara Croft: Tomb Raider. In the late afternoon, you will take for a blessing ceremony by Buddhist monks for happiness, prosperity and safety for your journey. Overnight at hotel in Siem Reap

Note:  During the visit of the Bakan Tower of Angkor Wat Temple

– Visitors are required to wear proper attire, covering shoulders and knees (no short, miniskirt or short trousers).

– Visitors have to be in the queue and waiting to climb up the Bakan Tower of Angkor Wat

– Children under twelve years old are not allowed to climb up this tower.

– It will be closed on the Buddhist Sabath Days, the Buddhist religious days (four days a month).

Day 8: Siem Reap depature (Meal: B)

Breakfast at the hotel – Free at own leisure until the time met and transfer to airport for flight to your home departure
